Olympia Express, Comandante, Moccamaster or JURA: brands that share our standards for quality and our respect for craftsmanship. Our selection lives up to the expectations of the most demanding coffee lovers.
What are the different types of coffee machine?
Every brewing method has its machine. Pressurised espresso, slow filter, cafetière, Italian moka pot or bean-to-cup: the right choice depends on your habits, your standards and how much time you want to give your cup.
Here are the main families you'll find at Chronic., all tested, tried and approved by our team of coffee enthusiasts.
Espresso machines
For lovers of intense, creamy espresso, our machines turn every extraction into a real barista ritual. Whether they use a high-precision pump or a traditional manual lever, these little feats of engineering heat the water to exactly the right temperature to bring out the complexity of every bean.
The result in the cup? A dense, aromatic espresso topped with a long-lasting golden crema. Many of our models also have a powerful steam wand for silky microfoam, ideal for cappuccinos and latte art.
Bean-to-cup machines
No time to play barista in the morning, but not willing to sacrifice flavour? Bean-to-cup machines grind the beans on demand and handle the extraction from start to finish. The result: fresh, complex coffee with no effort at all. Our selection of JURA machines goes even further. Swiss engineering, an intuitive interface and unrivalled extraction precision: JURA automates the process without compromising the coffee.
Chronic. is an official JURA partner: we sell, advise and provide after-sales service so your investment lasts.
Filter coffee machines
The filter coffee machine is a classic, reworked here for excellence. Our Moccamaster and Wilfa models are certified for their ability to heat water to between 92°C and 96°C from the very first second and spread it evenly over the grounds.
That's what precision batch brew means: a clean, consistent and clear extraction that shows every nuance of specialty coffee. Switch on, pour, enjoy. The ideal choice if you want consistently excellent filter coffee, cup after cup.
Manual brewing (slow coffee)
Manual methods have that little something extra: they ask you to take your time. No button, no programme, just you and your coffee.
- The AeroPress is incredibly versatile and makes a clean, bright cup, even when you're travelling.
- The cafetière (French press) goes for full immersion, for a rich, generous body.
- The iconic Bialetti Moka Express brings that unmistakable Italian intensity, halfway between espresso and filter.
Coffee grinders
The secret of exceptional coffee starts with the grind. Whether manual and portable like the iconic Comandante, or electric for surgical precision at home (Gilda, Wilfa, Olympia), our grinders protect the aromatic oils by grinding the beans just before brewing.
Because between pre-ground coffee and freshly ground beans there's more than a difference in taste: there's a whole world of flavour to discover.
Why choose our coffee machines?
