The CLARIS Pro Blue+ filter cartridge is the long-standing standard in JURA’s professional machine range. It filters the water directly from the tank and captures limescale, chlorine and heavy metals, the three main reasons behind flat coffee and a machine that ages too fast.
With unfiltered water, limescale builds up in the thermoblock and the pipes. Heating times get longer, extraction temperature becomes less precise, and descaling cycles come around more often. Keeping your cartridge up to date means fewer interventions and a machine that keeps performing well.
Capacity depends on water hardness: up to 300 litres up to 10 °dH, around 180 litres between 13 and 15 °dH, and 80 litres above 26 °dH. JURA reference 25058. The choice between Blue+, Pro White and Pro Smart+ depends on your machine model, not on performance: with the same capacity, it’s the filtration system that matters.
